Essential Daily Care is designed for older adults, recovering patients and individuals who need dependable assistance with day-to-day activities but do not require nursing procedures. A trained MITRA caretaker stays with the patient, supports their daily routine and provides attentive companionship while helping them remain as independent as possible.Before care begins, MITRA understands the patient’s condition, routine and support requirements through a detailed doctor consultation. A personalised care plan is structured for the patient and can be reviewed as needs change.

Booking
- Nothing to pay to book.
- We call you, share caregiver profiles, and you choose.
- A secure payment link is sent on WhatsApp after you select your caregiver.
Caregiver salary
- Paid by you directly to the caregiver.
- Paid monthly, on the same date as the joining date.
- First salary one month after the caregiver joins.
- The exact monthly salary is confirmed with you during caregiver selection, before the caregiver joins.
Peace of mindReplacements & ongoing support
- 2 free replacements if you are not satisfied with the caregiver.
- If a caregiver unexpectedly stops reporting, MITRA coordinates a replacement at no additional replacement charge.
- We aim to share 2–4 suitable profiles within 48 hours.
- If the first set is unsuitable, additional suitable profiles are shared within approximately 24 hours.
- Joining is coordinated as soon as possible; where feasible, the replacement joins the next day

- Essential Daily Care is intended for patients who do not require regular nursing procedures.
- Please share the patient’s complete medical history, medicines, allergies and relevant reports before care begins.
- Keep prescribed medicines and required patient supplies available at home.
- Provide a safe, clean environment for the caregiver and patient.
- Inform MITRA if the patient’s condition changes significantly.
- The caregiver does not diagnose illnesses or independently change medicines or treatment.
- In a medical emergency, seek appropriate emergency or hospital care immediately.
- MITRA may recommend moving to a higher level of care if the patient’s needs increase.

Does 24-hour care mean the caregiver stays at the patient’s home?
Yes. The caregiver stays at the home to provide round-the-clock assistance according to the agreed care plan. The family provides suitable meals, accommodation, washroom access and reasonable privacy.
Who is Essential Daily Care suitable for?
It is suitable for older adults, recovering patients and people who need help with everyday activities, supervision or companionship but do not require regular nursing procedures.
Can the caretaker give injections or IV medicines?
No. Essential Daily Care does not include nursing procedures such as injections, IV medications, tube feeding, catheter procedures or complex wound care. MITRA can recommend a nursing-care level if these are required.
Can I interview and choose the caregiver?
Yes. MITRA shares suitable caregiver profiles based on your requirements, and you can interview shortlisted caregivers before selecting the person you prefer.
What happens if the caregiver is not suitable?
MITRA provides replacement support. Two dissatisfaction-based replacements are included at no additional replacement charge during the booked plan.
